Pink murex shell are sometimes called "Pink-mouth Murex". The pink color is darkest on the inside but they're a light pink and white with some brown splashes on the outside.
 
Never throw away! Reuse your night light by simply purchasing replacement bulbs when the old light bulb goes out.
